Marias will provide program specs and testing services during FUMICO’s system conversion
Covington, Ohio — (GLOBE NEWSWIRE — March 6, 2019) — Marias Technology, a provider of software testing and implementation services to the insurance industry, has been contracted by Farmers Union Mutual Insurance Company of Montana (FUMICO) to help define specifications for — and to test — FUMICO’s new core processing system.
“Kerri Bekker and her team were welcoming right from the start,” said R. Christopher Haines, President and CEO of Marias. “Putting the interests of their policyholders and agents first, they understood the importance of getting their system conversion done promptly and accurately. We’re proud and grateful for their faith in us.”
Under the terms of the agreement, Marias will help ensure system specifications are complete and accurate. Marias also will perform the requisite testing, including QA, regression, and UAT.
“As we dove deeper into our policy system conversion, we worried about having adequate staff for data specification and testing,” said Kerri Bekker, President and CEO of FUMICO. “Marias is the perfect fit to help ensure we have the expertise available to complete the daunting tasks that come along with a system conversion. We look forward to a successful and less strenuous conversion for our organization with Marias by our side.”
